The tradition continues as The Thacker Mountain Radio Hour returns to Ocean Springs for a live recording, hosted by Jim Dees and house band the Yalobushwhackers. This year’s show is held in one of the most charged cultural spaces in the South, the Ocean Springs Community Center, surrounded by Walter Anderson’s landmark murals.

Featuring literary guest Macon Fry with his book They Called Us River Rats: The Last Batture Settlement of New Orleans. With musical guests Heather Crosse; and The Pinettes Brass Band, the trailblazing all-female brass band from New Orleans.

Presented by the R&B Feder Foundation. Additional support from Allen Beverages, Mitchell Distributing, Chandeleur Island Brewing Company, and Cathead Vodka. In partnership with the Friends of Arts, Culture & Education.
