Leif Anderson Gallery Talk

Leif Anderson, featured artist, poet, author, and dancer, will guide participants through her exhibition, Gestures of a Dancing Woman. Leif is the youngest daughter of Walter Inglis Anderson and a classically trained ballet dancer. She has traveled extensively, honing her art and developing a form of dance called Airth, which is based on the connection between body, earth, and breath. This concept has influenced her visual artwork featured in this exhibition in pieces executed in brush and inks, watercolors, and sculptures depicting the female form in motion.

The program will consist of a gallery talk and poetry recitation from 4-5pm, followed by a book signing from 5-6pm.
