Deer Island Birding: with Dr. Mark Woodrey

Join us for another family birdwatching program with Dr. Mark Woodrey,  an ornithologist from Mississippi State University, as we head the short distance by boat to Deer Island. Participants will have the opportunity to access Deer Island and look for migratory passerines (songbirds) and more!  Age Requirement: 10 years old+ Additional Information: Life jackets and binoculars are provided. Participants will need to bring water, snacks, sunscreen/sun protection, bug spray, closed-toe shoes, and appropriate clothing. A drybag is recommended to keep items from getting wet on the boat.
