Tupelo native and internationally recognized artist, Ke Francis is featured in WAMA’s newest exhibition, The Surreal South of Ke Francis. The artworks included in this exhibition span from large painted screens to engravings and intricately bound books, each responding to Francis’ publication, “The Devil and the Mudcat.” This collection of works is a modern southern-gothic fever dream, pulling the visitor into the vibrant world of the artist where myth and reality collide.
